Lt. Sean M. Carroll, MS, CSM, INCI (PPD, Ret.)
Lt. Sean M. Carroll, MS, CSM, INCI (PPD, Ret.) is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retired Providence (RI) Police Department lieutenant with 23 years of law enforcement experience across patrol, investigations, and command.
He is a former FBINAA Leadership Instructor — the FBI National Academy Associates built their new Leadership Certification Program with his most recent course — an IADLEST National Certified Instructor (INCI), and an adjunct professor of criminal justice at Roger Williams University. He is a contributing columnist for Police1 (Lexipol) and the founder of A.I.O. Leadership, LLC.
He is the author of A.I.O. Leadership for Law Enforcement (foreword by Pete Gaynor, former Acting U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security), which maps the 11 Fatal Flaws of Leadership™ most likely to derail leaders at every level.
